The choir cittą di Desio was originated from the desire of several people to become acquainted with and to share musical experiences through the repertoire of choral music.

During the years the Choir has moved into several musical directions with a particular attention to the XXth century Music. In fact choir’s repertoire extends from medioeval music to compositions of contemporary choral music composers. 

The choir has successfully partecipated to various competitions and festivals. Besides the polyphonic repertoire the Choir has also performed symphonic programms of various composers supported by orchestra groups.

In 1996 the Choir recorded its first CD (traditional Christmas carols). In July 1998 it was invited to take part in the International Choir Music Festival held in Rottenburg/Necker (Germany).
